HDPE-to-steel transition coupling provides a cost-effective and easy-to-assemble mechanical solution for connecting plain end HDPE pipe to grooved steel pipe, eliminating the need for butt fusion. It utilizes 4 bolts to drive sharp teeth that bite into the HDPE pipe and engage a keyed section with the steel groove, creating a secure, rigid connection. The unique design positions the teeth away from the gasket to ensure reliable sealing. Additionally, the low-profile housing with ramps allows it to slide over obstacles, making this coupling ideal for pipeline relocation projects.
